SUMMER days :)

I love summer days. I love the sun. I love the water. I love summer. I hate the extreme heat though, just like I love snow but hate the cold. This week has been no execption. It has been a hot week yet an enjoyable week. This week was the first week home with Alice, since she is done school and Azadeh is still in daycare, its just me and Alice Mondays and Thursdays and the 3 of us on Tuesdays, and Fridays. Friday we went swimming at Mummi's house (Finnish for grandma) and had a blast.  The heat was a lot so the cold water was extremely refreshing.

Alice is in the blue and Azadeh in the red/orange bathing suits.

They love the water, but Azadeh hates getting water in her face....

I convinced Alice to jump into the water from the side of the pool and off the diving board with me in return I print out the pictures for her

This was the only picture I could get of Alice and I jumping off the board.

I thought it would be cool to join in on the fun!!!

I love this picture, I begged her to jump in and now I will have to print out the picture for her, because Alice jumped in :)

Today (Saturday July 3) I met up with Lisa, Stephanie and Emma and we had a small picnic in the park.  It was a lot of fun just hanging out and eating good ol' food.  It was hotter today then the day before so we all headed to the Jet d'eau
It was so hot out that any bit of water was refreshing.  We all had this brilliant idea to walk on the path to the fountain and I'm not sure if we were pleased with it or we regretted walking there in our clothes because we got SOAKED on one side.  The water was fine but as soon as we got to the center, the wind changed and all of a sudden we were a bunch of screaming girls (who knew) and running away.  We died laughing.  We headed away from the fountain and found a nice place to lay our clothes out so the sun could dry them and we went for a swim.  Steph and I went back to the fountain this time in our bathing suits or as Lisa would call them our "swimming costumes" and ran under the fountain and BOY did we get some weird looks.  Two crazy North Americans are at it again.  The water was BEYOND refreshing and yet it was horrible the fact that it was pelting at us and we couldn't breath when running through it but in the end it was TOTALLY worth it.  We couldn't stop laughing.

I have a love hate relationship with the weather in Geneva.  It will be sunny and HOT for an entire week then it will rain for an entire week and get cold...NO JOKE.  The last week we have had 3 thunder storms, well really just thunder.   I love storms don't get me wrong, but if it's going to storm I want it to really storm.

Tomorrow is my three month to go mark :) :)  October 2nd baby!!!! :)
Monday is two weeks until Finland.  I have finally recieved all of my tick shots, they SUCKED but they weren't as bad as I was thinking.  The nurse was awesome and quick, hardly felt them.

I think thats all for now.  I will update next week or sometime during the week :)

With love;
Jennifer <3
