Day nine and ten are combined days, since yesterday I stayed on the island and did nothing!! Today was a packed day with lots of walking. I got to sleep in this morning YAY. I did my forth walking tour today and it took me around the main walking street and surrounding area. When I was done with the walking tour I headed to the Sealife place and spent some of the afternoon there. It was really neat inside and it was very relaxing to just walk around and see all different kinds of fish, definitely something to do with the kids on a rainy day. I saw jelly fish for the first time ever, and that is the only time I ever want to encounter them, they are pretty but DEADLY. I even saw seahorses something I have never seen before. They had all sorts of fish from sharks to stingrays, to clown fish to eels, all sorts, and different sizes. When I was finished walking around the sea life place, I went to the amusement park to see what there was and if it was worth me going there on Saturday by myself. There are tons of rides for all ages and if I had a friend to go with I would have forsure gone on Saturday but I think going on my own and going on the rides by myself would look a little sad. Entry is free, but if you want to ride the rides you can pay for each ride or you can get a wrist band which is the best option since there are so many rides, paying for them separately would cost you and arm and a leg.
Tonight, Nina’s cousins and sister arrived on the island. There are two little boys for the girls to play with and they have a blast together. Tonight they got these water pistols and oh man I haven’t seen these kids laugh and have so much fun the whole time I have been here. They were just having a jolly old time squirting each other in the face. It’s nice to have some more people around, so it’s not so lonely and only us and the grandparents here. More socializing.
I had to force myself to write this blog tonight, I am so tired, I couldn’t be bothered but I knew if I didn’t write it, I won’t remember the stuff I did.
Off to bed I go, have to get up with the girls tomorrow morning.
I love reading your day-by-day log! It seems so great! And I have never seen a seahorse so I am jealous Jenn
